Pourquoi le nom de Jicky ? Aimé Guerlain gardait le souvenir amoureux d’une jeune fille nommée Jicky à qui il rendit hommage avec une de ses plus belles œuvres olfactives. Une coïncidence fit que le diminutif de son neveu, Jacques, était, lui aussi, Jicky.
Jicky vous est proposé dans le mythique flacon « cœur inversé ». Imaginé en 1912 par George Chevalier comme la quintessence de la féminité : subtile alliance de lignes et de courbes, épaules arrondies et harmonieuses, capot ciselé en forme de cœur inversé.
Fougère Oriental. Contrasté, dynamique, étonnant. Les notes épicées, qui éclosent au contact de la chaleur de la facette orientale, jouent très habilement avec le cœur aromatique et frais des notes citronnées et lavandées. Au fond de cette audacieuse structure, on peut distinguer des notes boisées et vanillées qui apportent vibration et personnalité à la fragrance.
En 1889, Aimé Guerlain crée son premier chef d’œuvre Jicky. Il est d'emblée qualifié de "premier parfum moderne". Complexe, il est aussi le premier parfum unisexe de la parfumerie. Il marque le début de la parfumerie émotive qui n'essaie plus de copier l'odeur des fleurs mais tente plutôt d'éveiller l'émotion.
